Hi your collection is beautiful, I didn't know anything about Sid Dicken until an hour ago. I found 2 plaques in the trash king and queen, looks brand new. Was this a good find
Yes a very nice find indeed! I have both the King & Queen displayed in my office. I can't imagine why someone would throw them away. Both of the tiles you have are retired. The value is more when they are retired as well. I'd say you have about a $300.00 find. Congrats!
Go to www.sidcollectors.com and visit the sidclopedia section of the site. In there you can look in the product catalog for average sales and also look up the market value of tiles you just found. The Queen of Hearts is T161 and The King of Hearts is T158.
